DMCA & takedown policy

What this site actually hosts

Nothing infringeable. This site hosts no media, no videos, no images, and no platform content — only factual text (explanations, status statements), outbound links, and plain-text platform names. The downloader streams files that exist on the platforms' own CDNs; it stores no copy. A standard takedown of "the content" therefore has no object here — but a request to stop naming or linking a platform is handled seriously, below.

What we will do on a valid notice

  • Remove or rename the platform's mention — a platform can be dropped from the status board, the allowlist, and the public listings. Dropping a domain from the allowlist makes the downloader refuse it (HTTP 403) within the next deploy.
  • Respond within 72 hours of receiving a complete notice, with what was done.
  • Keep a record of the notice and the action for the counter-notice step below.

What a complete notice needs

  • Identification of you or your authorized agent (name, entity, address, and contact).
  • Identification of the platform(s) and the exact locations on this site you object to (page + list entry).
  • Statement of the basis of the objection (e.g., trademark, right of publicity, a court order).
  • Good-faith statement and statement that the information is accurate, under penalty of perjury (for formal DMCA notices in the US).
  • For non-DMCA takedown demands (e.g., a platform objecting to being listed), the same identification plus your specific ask (removal, rename, or removal of support).

Counter-notice

If content or a listing was removed on a claim we later believe was mistaken, and the original objector filed a formal DMCA notice, the operator may restore it after a counter-notice with the elements required by the applicable law is received. Given what this site hosts, formal DMCA notices are expected to be rare; most requests will be handled as the simpler platform-objection path above.

Where to send it

A dedicated abuse@ mailbox will be published here when the site's own domain is set up; until then, send notices via the operator contact described on the about page with the subject line "Takedown notice". We do not require a lawyer, but notices from one are fastest.
